Community Potluck & Film Screening
Time: 3pm - 5:30pm
Location: Combined Meeting Room (Event)
Share a meal with your community neighbors at this informal potluck. Bring a dish that supports local food by visiting the farmer's market for ingredients.
While you eat, you'll have a chance to discuss access to healthy food, urban farming and sustainable communities with others interested in food, where it comes from and how it shapes our lives.
A screening of the documentary, Eating Alabama and a Skype conversation with the director, Andrew Beck Grace will follow.
NOTE: To avoid duplicate dishes, be sure to tell everyone what you plan to bring. Sign up now.
Note: This event is part of a series for the 2nd annual community-wide reading program, Westerville Reads. The theme this year is sustainability and eating locally.
