. About the Presenter
Award-winning essayist and author Juli Ocean writes creative nonfiction, essays, novels, novellas, novelettes, and plays. As a published writer for over a decade, she led writing groups in Delaware and Franklin counties, within the faith community and with survivors of human trafficking and domestic abuse.
Juli began publishing her own books several years ago, a personal collection of ebooks and paperbacks, currently available on Amazon.com. Leading the charge, she encouraged a select group of writers to publish their works independently.
As a professional ghostwriter and writing mentor, Juli's experience includes creating book proposals for traditional publishers and working with numerous platforms which includes CreateSpace (now KDP), Kindle Direct Publishing, Kobo, Smashwords, Lulu, and Xulon. Additionally, she taught an 8-week course, Writing for Publication, at Vineyard Community Center.
