Tunes & Tales  (Sensory Friendly)

Specifically designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families, this session of Tunes & Tales invites children with varying learning styles and abilities to come together in a safe, supportive environment to enjoy music and stories.
Flood your world with colors and rhymes as the Westerville Symphony performs and a library representative narrates a musical rendition of Karen Beaumont's modern classic, I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!.
After the performance, get up close and personal with the musicians as the orchestra invites the audience on stage for an instrument petting zoo, encouraging questions and giving hands-on demonstrations.
For children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. Each family will receive a copy of the book, while supplies last. Note: Registration is required for every attendee.
About This Event
Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2018, Tunes & Tales is a partnership between the Westerville Symphony and the Westerville Public Library, pairing music with stories to introduce thousands of children to the world of music in an interactive and engaging way.
