About the Book
Second Chances tells the deeply emotional and inspiring story of the next phase of Craig and Fred's lives together: working closely with prison inmates in Maine who raise and train puppies to become service dogs.
About the Author
Raised in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC, Craig Grossi is a Marine Corps veteran, recipient of the Purple Heart, and Georgetown University graduate. When not traveling with Fred, he devotes his time to veteran organizations including the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program and the Marine Reconnaissance Foundation. He now lives in Maine with his partner Nora, and their dogs Fred and Ruby.
