COMING SOON – Exhibit delves into star symbolism in Westerville history.

Learn how people in Westerville have used stars to shape traditions, build community, and explore what it means to be human.

Mini exhibit on display November 2026 through September 2027.

Discover the ways that stars have been used throughout human history and culture to guide people physically and spiritually, and Westerville is no exception.

Items featuring stars appear in many forms in Westerville and beyond, including toys made by local company Kilgore Manufacturing, cartoons produced by the Anti-Saloon League, and t-shirts designed for the Westerville Music & Arts Festival. There's even a park trail built in the shape of a star.

And of course the most memorable version of this phenomenon is a giant star built to lift people's spirits during the Great Depression and displayed in Uptown Westerville since 1935.

Located in the display cases across from the pickup window and at the entrance to the Westerville History Museum. On display now through September 2027.
