Responsibilities & requirements include:
- Push heavy carts.
- Repeatedly stoop and lift boxes of books (up to 25 pounds).
- Shelve large amounts of books and media.
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- A background in library/informational science or literary genres is preferred.
- Must be comfortable with public interaction.
- Enjoy being with people.
- Able to work alone.
- Able to complete training.

The Friends of the Westerville Public Library are a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers who support and promote the continued growth of the Westerville Public Library. Current revenue sources include the library’s used book sales and gift shop.
