Teen Volunteers

Earn service hours by helping library staff. Requirements vary. Spaces are limited.

Before applying, review these expectations. After applying and before your first volunteer shift, all volunteers must attend an orientation.

Summer

Dates: May-July
Ages: 12-18
Minimum Availability: 2 hours per month
Tasks: Giving out prizes, signing up readers
Status: Currently accepting applications.

Dates: August-May
Ages: 12-18
Minimum Availability: 2 hours per month
Tasks: Event help, reading with kids, special projects
Status: Currently full. Applications reopen July 1.

Homework Help

Dates: August-May
Ages: 15-18
Minimum Availability: 1 hour per week
Tasks: Homework help, reading with kids
Status: Currently full. Applications reopen July 1.
