Did you know that volunteers gave more than 4,000 hours of their time to the Westerville Public Library in 2016?
Volunteer assistance is always greatly appreciated by library staff. By donating a couple of hours of your spare time on a weekly basis to help with ongoing tasks, you can contribute to the library in valuable ways.
Here are some of the tasks our current volunteers are doing:
Thank you for your interest in helping the library. The library is currently working with many dedicated individuals to accomplish daily tasks and special projects. In addition, Friends of the Westerville Public Library often seeks volunteers to work on a regular basis in the gift shop.
If you are interested in getting involved, please download the volunteer application and return it to the Community Services department. We will contact you as volunteer opportunities become available.
Students age 12-18 are eligible to serve as teen volunteers.
During the school year, you can help at children's events or log hours shelving books and DVDs. During the summer, you can help run the Summer Reading Program or help at children's events. You can also serve as adviser to the Teen Librarian.
