Teen Volunteers

Earn service hours by helping library staff. Requirements vary. Spaces are limited.

Before applying, review these expectations. After applying and before your first volunteer shift, all volunteers must attend an orientation.

Lead Volunteers

Dates: Ongoing
Ages: 16-18
Minimum Availability: 4-6 hours per month (during school year), 4-6 hours per week (in summer)
Tasks: Event help & materials preparation
Status: Applications are currently being accepted.

Homework Help

Dates: August-May
Ages: 15-18
Minimum Availability: 1 hour per week
Tasks: Homework help, reading with kids
Status: Currently full.

Summer

Dates: May-July
Ages: 12-18
Minimum Availability: 2 hours per month
Tasks: Giving out prizes, helping sign up readers
Status: Currently full.
