Fliers
The Anti-Saloon League used a series of fliers to market their cause. They realized the power of having their printed word in as many hands as possible. The fliers were a great marketing tool because they touched upon so many aspects of the alcohol problem and reached people through intellect and emotion.
Intellect
Appeals through intellect touched upon alcohol's effects on animals, the body, children, the mind, morality, prosperity and safety.
Â
Emotion
Appeals through emotion were also used.
