How to Design Your Button
To design your button, consider these software options:
- Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop (available at Craft & Print Station)
- Canva.com (available at Craft & Print Station)
- Microsoft Word (available at Craft & Print Station or in the computer labs)
Then download a template.
Or if you wish to design your own template, use these cut line measurements:
- Small: 1.77 inches
- Medium: 2.76 inches
- Large: 3.35 inches
How to Print Your Button Design
Designs should be printed on standard copy paper (not cardstock).

Printing at the Library
Print from a library computer, your own device, or via email. Then pick up at the library. $0.10/black & white. $0.50/color
Business & Craft Printer (Inkjet)
Print labels, postcards, envelopes, and more. Edge-to-edge up to 12x12 inches. Limit: 25 per week.
Rules & Restrictions
Limit of 3 hours while others are waiting. To gain access to the lab, present your library card and ID to the staff at the desk on the second floor. Printing projects are scheduled through staff and can be picked up when completed.
Your use of the lab is subject to the library's Terms of Use.
- Must be 18 years or older; or 16-17 years old with a signed waiver from parent/guardian that acknowledges the rights and responsibilities of both parties; or accompanied by an adult who meets all requirements for use.
- Must have a Westerville Library card in good standing.
- Must present a government-issued photo ID or school ID with the current school year's date clearly indicated.
Use of the lab is intended to be self-guided. Minimal instruction provided. Library staff can recommend resources for learning.
Reservations
Walk-ins welcome as availability allows.
- Reservation limit is 3 hours per day; no more than 90 days in advance. (Setup, teardown, saving, or clean-up are to be completed during your allotted reservation time.)
