$1,889 grant brings bubbles, barnyard animals, and beats to encourage summer reading.

Thank you to the State Library of Ohio and the Institute of Museum and Library Services for their support.

Thanks to a $1,889 grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio, the Westerville Public Library will be encouraging young readers this summer with interactive experiences that teach early literacy skills and encourage caregivers to engage with kids.

These educational events will go beyond the current storytime offerings and focus on literacy components such as singing, talking, and playing.
