Challenge yourself to a summer of reading...

...and earn a prize when you meet your goal!

  1. Register yourself & your family. (May 26-July 31)
  2. Set your reading goal. Try to stretch yourself until at least July 1.
  3. Read!
  4. Once you meet your goal, stop by to pick up your prize.

Prizes include:

  • Ages 0-17: Choose a book. Get a coupon for Columbus Museum of Art, Rita's Ice, Sugarbees Fine Confections, and the Ohio State Fair.
  • Ages 18+: Get a set of 4 historic Westerville postcards. (While supplies last.)
  • All ages: 1 entry in a grand prize drawing for all participants who met their goal.

Tip: Have you participated in another reading challenge with us? You can use that same email address/username and password to sign up and keep track of the books you’ve read online. Log in. Then choose Account > Add Reader or Program.

  • Can I join? Yes! All ages are welcome.
  • When do I start? Register and log your progress between May 26 and July 31.
  • What should I read? Read anything. Read everything. Read aloud to others or to yourself. Books, ebooks, magazines...it all counts. Want some suggestions? Request a personalized recommendation (ages 18+) or subscription bundle (ages 0-18).
  • Why should I participate? Fight summer boredom or reconnect with your favorite pastime. Reading can reduce stress, increase empathy for others and keep your mind sharp. And it's fun!
